Red face Connection Problems with LimeWire 4.14 and Vista

Hope someone can help, Limewire is not connecting to the network and showing a brick wall in front of the earth, yet i dont even have a firewall enabled since i disabled windows firewall..but i do have zonealarm but it is NOT enabled or loaded....so there shouldnt be any firewalls up....i am not connected through a router, just straight through my DSL modem to my ISP

Here are my specs:

1. Windows Vista
2. Windows Firewall and Zonealarm (both disabled)
3. 2GB ram
4. 80 GB disk space available
5. DSL service
6. Siemens Speedstream 4100 DSL modem
7. connecting from home
8. LW 4.14.10 and Java 1.6.0_02
9. ATT
10. it said "Your Test Worked!"
11. no other computers or sharing
12. new problem with an experienced user
13. yes, i see a brick wall in front of the world icon
14. i use just the modem
15. Symantec Antivirus 10.2
16. USA

Thanks in advance!

p.s. I will be eventually installing a wireless network with a Dlink WBR-2310 router after i get this problem fixed with my limewire....if i should happen to fix this Limewire issue, am i gonna have any more connection problems once the network is setup?....cause UPnP is enabled on that router, and i wouldnt think so....but just wanted to put that out there

again THANKS!

Even though you have disable ZoneAlarm try this fix as it has worked for many even the ones with ZA disabled...

If the Dlink WBR-2310 router gives you any trouble you can post back and we can give you the instructions on port forwarding...
