i cant get lime wire to connect

hi, i have used lime wire many many times before and now i cant get it to connect. whats wrong with it? i have a laptop with windows vista, and a 2wire gateway modem. i ave tried everything. i uninstalled it reinstalled it. i dont know what else to do. please help. thank you
