New Computer - Windows Vista
 

I have gotten a new computer with Windows Vista Home Premium and can no longer connect to limewire. I just get the single bar and it says connecting.

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
Router: Linksys Wireless
Firewall: Zonealarm
Antivirus: Norton Protection Center

Neither the router nor the firewall should be the problem as they are the same as before. Other computers on this same home network still connect to limewire just fine also.

Ive tried everything that has been posted and still cannot get function.

Strata, Welcome. There seems to be a problem with these 3 not getting along. Vista + Zone Alarm + Limewire. Some people have had Luck with this Fix. See Link Below.

Try uninstalling both LW & ZA, then reinstall LW first. After that, reinstall ZA. This has worked for a few Vista users...see post #6 of this thread Can't connect using Vista.
