Question Help with getting LW running on Vista

I have windows vista running DSL. I've paid for and installed limewire but when ever I try to open it I only get the first green bar. Limewire show me the firewall but I have turned off my computers firewalls and uninstalled and reinstall limewire and it still doesn't work. What more can i do?

ok, lets try this again. I don't know all the computer lango so I'll give you what I can. I have windows vista and I only have the windows sercurity alert. I don't know how much space i have but i know its enough, i just brought the computer new. I have Qwest (DSL) running it from my house. LW 4.9.37 and im not sure about Java. LW worked for one day and now it has the brick wall up and the green bar wont move pass the first bar. I just would like to be able to get it up and running with the simplest instructions possible. I don't understand alot of the computer talk.

Thanks for your help
