I dont know much about computers and i have been using limewire on many different computers for a few years and never had any problems until now.

i have 2 computers and limewire is working on one,and i decided to get it on my new computer but i get an error message when i try to run it (after i installed it) it says:

Limewire was unable to initialize and start. This is usually due to a firewall
program blocking Limewire's access to the internet or loopback connection on the local machine. Please allow limewire acesss to the internet and restart limewire.

All i can tell you is that the computer is a Dell, brand new and i am using widows vista. I use mcAfee security center and SBC is my internet provider.

I seriously have no idea what to do or where to start on fixing the problem im not good with computers. I tried disabling my firewall but it didnt work. Can someone who knows what to do help me and be very specific in the directions for i am not so smart with computers..it would be much appreiciated thanks!
