LW not connecting

1. my version home premium vista
2. have windows
3. 1 of ram
4. 120 hard drive
5. cable connection
6. comcast
7. trying to connect from home
8. version 4.14 on limewire \
9. comcast is my isp
10. the test worked on my pc
11. no sharing brand new pc nothing on it
12. 2 weeks ago i have ex and lime wire worked fine now with vista i can get it past the 1st bar and i have tryed the deleting preference folder and reinsnstalling / restarting and i just dont know i am not pc stupid either but i am stumped and yes there is a brick wall in front but i shut my fire wall off ... never had to do this with xp ... hope some one can
