Stops loading at HTML Engine
 

I'm on vista, and when I start up LW, it stops at 12% when it says its loading the HTML Engine. I've re-installed it many times, and I got the new Java thing (i think)...what do I do? (btw it worked ONE time a little while ago, then it jsut stopped, and I dont think I changed anything major on my comp. since then)

Same thing with me. Only on Vista, an XP machine works fine

whenever i start up limewire 4.14.10 it stops at 12% and it stops when its loading the html engine. i was on it earlier today and it worked fine. downloaded some music and videos. ive tried reinstalling it about 5 or 6 times. uninstalled java and limewire and reinstalled them both at the same time. ran virus scans on my computer. nothing works. im running windows vista. so maybe you guys need to check that out and get it fixed. because downloading music is all i have to do anymore haha. thanks

I fixed it meself! I guess posting this thread wasnt completely pointless because Illb e able to help other peoples! So, you right click on the limewire shortcut on your desktop, then you click properties then you go to teh compatability tab then you click the check the box that says "run with compatability mode", and i think the one thats already there is fune (XP service pack, or something) then you click OKAY, then you can go out and duble click teh icon, and it works....OHYASH
