working slowly
 

When i open LW its connects quickly with a full connection. The problem is when i type in a song to download. It says it finds like 300 results or however many. None of them show up. then i go to a different tab and lw runs slow. When i click a different tab not all of that tab loads up or when i go back to search tab it takes a while for it to load back up. When i do a search sometimes the only part that shows up is like the quality part and doesnt even show anything else of that song. I have never had anyproblems with limewire before this. Just all the sudden started doing this.

Do you mean that LW connects & searches ok with a number of search results showing at the top of the search page, but the search page itself is blank?

Try updating your Java. Download the JRE offline installer & reomve any other Java versions already installed on your computer, before you install the new one. Even if you already have this latest Java, reinstall it anyway (just in case something's corrupted in the existing version).

If that doesn't fix things, delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See the thread below for instructions...remember to show hidden files & folders first, or you won't be able to find the preferences folder;)
