Limewire + itunes???

Ok, I would appreciate any kind of help. My last computer that I had Limewire on directly set up a playlist in my itunes by just "checking" a box in the Limewire preferences. With my new comp and new Limewire, I can not get this to happen.

All i want is for the Limewire files to be sent and available in my itunes w/o any extra hassell. If there is something I need to do or can do, please let me know!!!! It would be greatly appreciated, Im going crazy with not being able to have it connect.

Remember the files are not actually physically sent to iTunes. iTunes makes a playlist called LimeWire, but the actual files remain in the LW download folder.

Open iTunes, Go to Edit menu > Preferences > Sharing & check option to share .. the first one from memory.

Open LW, go to menu bar, Tools > Options > iTunes > Sharing & check option for sharing & put in a name of your choice. Press apply.

If still doesn't work, go to Tools > Options > Player & disable LW's media player.

thx....

One more question....

I have the playlist now, but I cant drag the files into any other playlist. Is there something else I have to do to be able to? Thanks for any help (once again).

Yep can't be done. Only way to add them to other playlists is to add them to iTunes music library; How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}
