Can't search
 

I've just recently download limewire. I am running windows vista just in case that helps anyone analyze my probelm. Limewire opens up alright, and i know it is connected. The problem I have is that when I try to search for a file the lime wire logo spins as if it is searching but nothing comes up. Then eventually the logo just stops spinning. No matter what i try to search for nothing comes up. I reinstalled limewire and java, I have no clue what to do. If you could help me please that would rule. Thank you so much in advance.

Providing you see all green/blue connection bars in the bottom left corner, try these fixes.

1. In LW go tools > options > searching > basic & check whether the 'show license warning' box is ticked. If it does, untick it > Apply > ok...see if that makes any difference.

3. Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed.

This will change all of your settings within LW's options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things.
