| sorry about that. 1. Windows Vista 2. I am using the windows firewall 3. 894 ram 4. 106 GB of memory 5. Cable 6. N/A 7. house 8. LW 4.14.10 Java 1.6.0_03 9. Cox 10. It says it worked 11. not sharing connection 12. new user 13. see a brick wall 14. N/A 15. not running any additional antivirus software 16. the USA |

I got a new laptop, running Vista home premium. I dont have a internet connection at home though, I just go around town picking up different wireless signals. I have uninstalled the free Norton trial, and shut off my Windows Firewall (or so it says.) Nevertheless, when I open up Limewire, I get one green bar and the brick wall in front of my globe. I am not a computer wiz, and if anyone has any step by step instructions to fix this, I would really appreciate it.
