Another firewall problem...

Alright so I downloaded limewire and had problems with the firewall. So I deleted it and temporary shut off my windows firewall. Reinstalled and still nothing. So again I uninstalled LW and turned on my firewall. Well after the computer restarted I tried downloading LW one more time and it worked. I downloaded over 200 songs that day. the next day NOTHING!!! I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Everytime I wipe out LW and reinstall it, I go through the setup I am supposed too. The funny thing is, I still shows my library of songs that were downloaded and the songs that still need to download. What the hell is going on. Ever since I bought this damn computer with Vista I have had nothing but problems.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

If I wasn't too clear, the problem is that LW detects a firewall even when the firewalls on my computer are off.

I am having the same problem, and it is driving me crazy

 I got a new laptop, running Vista home premium. I dont have a internet connection at home though, I just go around town picking up different wireless signals. I have uninstalled the free Norton trial, and shut off my Windows Firewall (or so it says.) Nevertheless, when I open up Limewire, I get one green bar and the brick wall in front of my globe. I am not a computer wiz, and if anyone has any step by step instructions to fix this, I would really appreciate it. Either to here or *email address removed*
