Problem loading!!!!
 

I Just got a new computer. I downloaded Lime wire 14.4 for my Vista. It worked for 2 days, and now it won't load at all. all i see is the loading box (12% Loading HTML Engine....) 12% is as far as it gets and the task manager doesn't recognize it's running, but if i go to uninstall while its on my desktop, it won't let me. So I Re-Start... then uninstall....then RE-INSTALL and THE SAME THING HAPPENS! 12%! :eek:

I have the exact same problem. It does show up in the TM, but only in processes. I can't figure out why it does this...it worked for 3 days then just quit all of a sudden.

I had Limewire on my old computer when i was using XP, now i have bought a new Gateway with Vista on it, and limewire does not work at all. I cant find any songs, it says connecting but it just does not connect. I re-installed it like 5 times already, and i still cant get it to work. I tried everything on the technical support website to get it to work, but nothing has worked. I Love limewire, but now i cant even use it at all. I deleted my MC afee off my computer, i allowed the limewire program under the fire wall, and it just does not work....


I had to download bearshare, cause thats the only way i can download music, but the music on there sucksss...they are blurry, and the songs are not as clear as they should be... Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee HELP ME!!! Im going to go NUTZ without limewire

For the people with the 12% issue please search the posts as there are so many solutions to your problem.

Vista issue ... What version of Java are you using and if you go to add/remove programmes then how many versions and what are they in there.
Check your firewall setting and your antivirus also are you using Alcohol at all ??

Vista wont work with limewire
 

I tried alowwing my firewall to accept the limewire. I tried all of the suggestions that were on the website. Im just not sure what else it is thats making it now work. It worked fine on my last computer.
