Default Different Computers Different Results

I have Limewire on 2 computers. I have checked all the settings and options and they are set identically on both computers.
The problem is this:
Say I do a search on Sarah McLachlan for example.
On one computer, the one running Win XP, I may have 205 results. However, on the other computer running Windows Vista, I only get 95 results. The one running Vista has the newest and most recent version of Limewire.
I have no clue if the OS actually has anything to do with this. I point it out only because I'm wondering if it does. Again, all options are set the same.
Thank You for any help or suggestions you can offer.

the difference is the ultra peers you are connected to and the leafs they are 'holding'...i.e. you search horizon is totally different...

a valid/real test would be to check the IP addys of the hosts on one machine, then remove a host on the other and manually enter the IP from the first machine and then hit connect...do this until the hosts are identical...wait a bit for full connectivity, then do a comparative search...the results should be about the same....
