I have the same issue. I am running Mac os x 10.5 Leopard. I have tried to tell the firewall to allow lime wire...it does, but the brick wall stays on lime wire. I only have one connection bar. Whats the deal???

Hi all

I tried it bretinna, and it didn't work. I show full bars, but my f/w shows a brick. It is excepted in Windows f/w. I also have avg virus shield but there doesn't seem to be any problem there. Help - how frustrating. It says it is starting a connection, but never connects. Worked on my free version? My info.:
O.S. xp pro
Windows firewall and avg shield
1G rqm
75 GB H.D. FREE
CABLE CONNECTION
MOTOROLA sURFBOARD WIRELESS MODEM SB4101
lINKSYS ROUTER 2.4 GH WIRELESS Model NO. WRT54GS.V4
Connection from home/office
Limewire ver. 4.9.33 - Java 1.5.0
Service Provider - Charter Communications
Test Page 'worked'
On a network, but not sharing connection
Was able to connect with free Limewire, but when purchasing pre - doe not connect
Get message "Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many
results until you are fully connected to the network".
Yes, I do see a brick wall.
