Default * Please Help* Before I Loose My Mind!!! (1 connection bar)

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

for the past WEEK ive done near eveything that everyone has suggested to get LW connecting, but no joy :-( Ive used LW for years then suddenly a week ago the connection lights stay at one bar and thats it!! Below are my attempts in rectifying this pain in my ****...

1) ive uninstalled and reinstalled.
2) ive uninstalled java and got the 1.5 no joy so went back to 1.6
3) turned off windows and norton fiewalls
4) ive gone back to wired as apposed to wireless
5) ive bounced my laptop off the floor a few times to help fix but no joy
6) ive deleted roaming folder
HELP PLEASE!!

I guess you're using Vista? Do you mean that you deleted LW's preferences folder here: C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\LimeWire

Did you try replacing the gnutella.net file which is found within LW's preferences folder (named LimeWire)? Have a look at the thread below...there are links to download a gnutella.net file, plus more info.
Make sure that LW's completely closed first, or it's a waste of time.

If that doesn't help, post back with your system details (check that thread for info about what details we need). Also, hover your mouse over the gnutella.net file...what size is that file?
