i have had trouble with my LW not loading, i have Clicked it and It wont load, i have deleted the pref. folder, and deleted the shared folder. i had LW up and running befor i was stuck at 12% and pasted that but now i am at the point where it wont even open !!! Help Please !! i am in bad need of LimeWire

please if you Can help me out that would be great !

Try changing compatibility. Right click on the LW desktop icon > properties > compatibility. If you're using XP, try running in compatibility mode for Win 2000 or NT. If you're using Vista, try compatibility mode for XP

Which version of Java are you using? Try updating to the latest Java & see if that makes any diff. Download the JRE offline installer & remove any old Java versions before you install the new one.

I am Useing Vista and, if that helps any,

Could it be a Hardware issue? or no

Are you running as an administrator? If not, do that (right click on the LW icon & choose to run as admin).
Which version of LW was up & running, before you got stuck at 12%? Have you installed any other software since then?

Do you have AllChars installed? If you do, disable or remove AllChars & see how that goes.

Which version of LW are you using now? Go here & download an older version...see whether that loads without any problems.
