Connected but will not download

Ive been a Limewire user for many years, but ever since i got my new laptop with Vista i cant seem to get limewire to download, its connected and searches but thats as far as it goes, i dont think its a licence problem. please help.

me too, got the same problem like you, new laptop with Vista home premium, stopped after download 5 songs, connected and searches like yours but nothing loaded, not sure about the licence, hope any expert can help.

Not sure if it will help you but mine works now, all i had to do was play about with my download folders and change where things are saved too, also you would be made aware if it was a licence problem. Hope thats some help. :)

I'm having the same issues(as superastar), except mines not even downloading after moving stuff around... it searches but comes up with no results. It is also showing as still being behind a firewall but I've accepted it on both firewalls and then even rebooted to see if that would help and NOTHINGS worked. Ive followed all the steps PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!

Hi Cadace, go to technical support 1st page, subject :chose a pro folder , that will tell you how to do it. uninstall your LW 1st, re install LW again, follow the insturation you will sort it in the end.

sorry, the correct subject is LW Pref Folder in Vista,post by Grandpa. mine is working OK now.
