My desktop and Windows Explorer stop and restart so much that i can't do anything.I uninstalled limewire restarted my laptop and still i get the same error messeges,,"Windows

restarting.Even in safe mode the messeges popped up,I can't even install LM without the messeges.
It finally stopped when I did a system restore and restarted my computer.I''m a novice,I can't handle this!Please help.

Did you download a file just before this started happening? If so, can you remember which file it was? Try deleting that file from your computer. The same kind of thing has happened to XP users after downloading a corrupt file. Deleting the file was the fix for one person, from what I can remember, another person fixed the problem by running AVG Free AV.

It wouldn't hurt to run an AV scan, just to be safe.

That's just a bit of info I found by using Google. Try searching for more...type in Windows Explorer has stopped working Vista...see whether you can find more info to help. Otherwise, a Vista user here might be able to help more.

I've run full scans with trend micro and windows defender.Both were clean.After i did a system restore and uninstalled LW it stopped on its own.Because i like to punish myself,i tried again to install LW and it works fine!I've been reading some post in the forums you posted links to,maybe its really an issue with vista not LW?
