lime wire freezes
 

Lime wire has been working fine on my windows vista, yesterday I started it and it froze after opening it, I restarted the system and same problem, I uninstall it and downloaded the latest version, and I got the same thing, it freezes, any fixes for this problem?

Try a fresh install, of LW and java. Uninstall and delete the old stuff and d/load and reinstall. Let us know how it goes.

I uninstall both java and lime wire, reinstalled them, and lime wire just did the exact same thing, any solutions for this?

Sorry did not see vista.Ok So the new version huh ok hmmm Pauseing............Sorry thinking i had the same problem a long time ago this is what i did Completely delete all file's contaning LW that will be your first thing to do than try a older version of basic lime wire i do have a site to get it from.Here is a link.Download LimeWire Basic 4.16.6 - filehippo.com
Ok make sure you download any thing above 4.14.0 Most likely the one's below that 4.14.0 will not connect to the internet.They way to download is to use the green Box to the right.

thanks for the advice, I did remove the latest version, and installed 4.14.2, however I got the exact same freeze, it happens right after clicking on the limewire icon, during that window which ask if you want to upgrade to the pro version.

still looking for a solution!
