When you uninstall Limewire make sure all traces of it are gone.
Go into your C:\ directory and make sure it's all gone from in there too.
It should be alll removed before you try re-installing it and see if that solves the problem. Another good thing to do is to read all the sticky threads from this forum and all the other technical support forums. Somewhere in there you should find others with a similar if not exactly the same problem as you and a solution to your problem.
