Try these ones: __ (1) ad-ware (FREE), ______ (2) Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE)

If they don't help, see WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of! (click on blue link) and perhaps LimeWire continually Popping up & also Opening at System Startup

Spyware: Help With LimeWire File

What I didn't mention before is that I uninstalled limewire, and it left a file folder behind. File folder is called NetworkShare, click on NetworkShare it takes me to a incomplete folder click on that one, and it takes me to a file folder LimewireWinInstaller.exe. When I want to delete it, it won't let me.
Say's Acess Denied, No Permission. I don't know how I can get this off. Need your help.

Which windows version are you using?
Network share is a normal folder used by LW.

What made you believe you had spyware?

How did you uninstall LW?

There's a few reasons I am asking. One of them is many spyware protection utility programs are not designed to cater for p2p programs and think all such programs such as LW are spyware. Perhaps only answers in such a case is (a) put LW on their exception list, and most have exception lists in their options. (b) Don't use that spyware utility and instead use those that are p2p program 'wise' such as those I recommended. The Spyware forum lists those two programs in their top 5 or ten and always have.
