Error Message i've never seen before.. (save folder not valid)
 

" Your save folder is not valid.It may have been deleted,you may not have permissions to write to it, or there may be another problem. Please choose a different folder. "

Any help would be great.

Try this :-

Open Limewire
click on Tools --> Options --> Saving
Now you will see a Save Folder and in the Folder window provided it will show you where your present downloads are being saved:-

[eg] C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Shared

To change this click on Browse and find the Folder you wish to save your files in. Click OK
