Unable to Connect as Vista Standard User Account
 

I am able to connect to Limewire as the Administrator (Vista) but my children's account is unable to connect, it just stays in trying to connect mode with the firewall icon at the bottom.It's the weirdest thing! When I disable the Parental Controls for my children's account they can connect but when I activate the P/C it blocks,I even setup an exception in the P/C for limewire but it doesnt help. Can someone please help me?

Is it absolutely necessary for you to have parental control over your childrens surfing.
Most children act responsibley if you sit them down and tell them the truth about why you are concerned that they only go to wholesome sites. Perhaps you could e-mail the maker of your parental control application and ask them for a solution.

The problem could be with your childs username/profile -- you will have to go into their profile and add limewire to the list of programs that he/she can have access to. If this doesn't work I'd follow RobertR's advice and ask the makers of the PC application for a possible solution.
