Does anyone know why Limewire keeps restarting after I close it down? I'm running version 4.16.6 and have disabled automatic start at startup, though I can't get to the options menu anymore (it just flashes and closes). How can I keep it from starting over and over and hogging what few resources windows vista doesn't use?

It sounds like you could be infected with a virus. Go to this link (LW keeps restarting and cant access options) and follow these fixes - here's another link that is worth a good look at (Warning - viruses on network you should be aware of) Hope this helps
