Sounds a lot like the movie files you downloaded are bogus or fake movie files.
How do you know that these files are genuine?
There is nothing wrong or different about Vista. I not long ago bought a new Toshiba laptop (top of the line) with Vista Ultimate and I couldn't be happier with the way it is running on my machine. You just have to make sure you've got a reputable antivirus application and make sure it keeps its virus definitions up to date and you shouldn't have that much trouble with Vista. Any operating system is only as good as the amoount of maintainence you put into it. If you go downloading movie files from here and there without being sure they are genuine is not Vista's fault. What else has happened that makes you feel so negative about Windows Vista? Incidentally what made you think that using Bold print would get you more notice than anybody else. You're no more special than any of the other people who post their problems here. What makes you think that using bold print makes you so special?

Default Movies in LimeWire

GeeeZeeee Robert. Didn't realize the bold was even on, but I'm an 'old' broad so didn't even notice. Sorry.
Vista is giving me a hard time and I am not a rookie.
I've been on puters for 20 years so I assure you, its not the operator. I find it just has a ton of Security against myself. It would be fine in a Network scenario, but I don't like it as a home user. Regardless, the movies I'm having trouble with are d/loaded in LimeWire so surfing isn't the problem with movies. I want to Play them in LW and can't get the program to default to to that no matter how many times I reset the Options. That is my question, how do I get around that? Can you help me or want to give me puter lessons? Thanks for reading my
question. L.

Sleepless: Fixed that bold post for you, even though how someone can accidentally make 4 different sentences bold by them selves goes beyond me.
