when i download LW it gets to 100% and then comes up with "Error! Can't initialize plug-ins directory. please try again later. i have tryed to fix it but nothing seems to work. please help

Before we can proceed further please tell us what plug-ins it is talking about.
Nowhere in LimeWires options or user instructions does it say anything about a plug-in so what directory is this Error message referring to?
You may have accidentally picked up a virus or something. My ad vice would be to read all the "Sticky" Threads you possibly can and hope that there is an answer there to solve your problem. But I for one have never seen this reference to a plug-in.
