Default Help transferring Limewire to a new computer

I'm using version 4.16.6 of limewire and bought a new laptop. I'm trying to move my files from the old computer (windows xp) to my new computer (vista) and it's not working. The program transfers, but none of my music library transfers.

Any suggestions?

How are you doing the transfer?
Are you copying your files onto a CDR and then copying them from the CDR onto your new computer or using some other manner to copy from one computer to the other.

I recently got a new computer and updated from dialup service to satellite internet service. I only used my Limewire once, around March '06, because it took forever using the dialup service. I want to download Limewire to my new computer but I don't want to have to pay again. Also, my email changed when I got the satellite and I can't remember what my access info for Limewire was. I found the credit card bill where I purchased Limewire. Any ideas or help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Why not just download and use the free version.
it's nearly as good as the Pro version and should do everything you wish it to do.

Thanks, that's what I will do. I was just hoping I could download without having to pay again, but after speaking with a company rep, I've got to pay again since it has been longer than 6 months. Oh well!!
