Searching for files - no search results? (Vista)

For some reason my limewire has been acting up lately. It prompted me to upgrade to a newer limewire so i upgraded to the new beta version and it starts up just fine and everything. Im looking to download music files, so i click "Audio" to narrow the file search. I type in the name of the song and hit search and nothing ever comes up in the searching area of the screen. Ive tried closing the program and restarting it but it wont work. it is connected also. when i click "file" i only can click "disconnect."

Can anyone help me with my problem?
