Deleting MPEG files from my Computer

Hi, can anyone tell me how to delete files that wont delete? ie, I have uninstalled limewire from my computer, which has vista on it. but there are still mpeg files that are on my computer that I downloaded from limewire, and also limewire folders. When i click on them to delete them, or rename them, it says this is no longer located in C:\bla\bla\bla\ and it gives me the option to try again or close. Also it has made shortcuts to some of the files that I have tried to delete now those wont delete either? And some limewire folders that I have deleted, when I go back to where I deleted them from they are back? Im not the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to computers, but a solution to this problem will be much apprciated!

Cheers, mat.

Sounds a lot like you've downloaded a virus at some stage.
Best thing to do is make sure your Antivirus is right up to date with it's virus definition files or try AVG free version of it's Antivirus software.
Here: AVG Free - Download antivirus and antispyware software for Windows XP and Vista
You might be wise to run something like some sort of anti Spyware software like SpyBot from here: The home of Spybot-S&D!
With a bit of luck someone else with more knowledge than me will reply and give you some good tips as to other things you can do.
Good Luck!
