Is this an actual update?
 

I have this message on my main page when I start up limewire that's telling me to download a security update. (my screen capture is on http://www3.telus.net/public/niemi9/limewire.jpg) I haven't used limewire that often since I downloaded it a few months ago, so I'm not sure if this is a legit message from Gnutella or if a hacker is trying to get me to willingly download malware with an "urgent" message.

It is their official site yes. But their updates have been causing problems. If using windows, get this version http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe
