Computer's Speaker Sound Stopped?!

Hi There! I installed the update for Limewire today on my ASUS laptop and now suddenly my computers sound has stopped working. I can still hear the sound when I plug in my earplugs, but when I take them out no sound comes out of the speakers. The computer's audio control panel says that everything is working 100% and I also have Realtek HD Audio Manager telling me everyhing is working fine.

There is also a red light shining out of the earplug input...I never saw this before...

Would there be anyone who knows what this problem is??
