sharing limewire files with Windows Media Player I have Windows Vista. I can't get limewire to also place files in my W. Media Player. On my pc with XP I have no problem on my laptop with Vista can't do it. What settings do I use,,,and does wireless affect that? |

You should be able to choose which directory that Limewire downloads to in the options, (usually it prefers a directory under C:\Users\Your name\ [it doesn't like having it's files placed in a directory directly under the C:\ directory]) and then if you want to move the files you can copy/cut and paste the files into whichever directory you choose. I don't know what directory Windows Media Player uses for it's library directory but it may be that Limewire will not allow you to use that directory for it's library. The fact that you're using wireless internet should not make a difference to what directory is chosen. |

Also, have a look at the dreaded 'Security Center' in Vista (and added to XP with Service Pack 3). 'Security Center' may be blocking the file transfer process.
