Can't Connect

I just got a new computer today, it has Windows Vista and I can't connect. It just says starting connection. I have went over some of the different posts and I can't figure it out. I know you are suppose to leave your limewire open for a while to connect, but how long till it should be connected?

I've tried the java 6 and the properties settings. I still can't get it to connect. ???

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes if this doesn't fix your problem click on (system details) fill in and post back here
