![]() Hi, After having used Limewire without any problem during several months on my new Vista-based PC, I suddenly have had the problem to even launch the Limewire-application. I launch the Limewire application, and absoluty nothing happens, I mean no error message or whatsoever (the application was not launched in task manager or system tray; absolutely no reaction from the system after launchung the application). ![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe a Java-problem? The problem has appeared suddenly (not after a change in the Limewire or Java or general system configuration), and the strange thing is that there is no error message at all. I've then downloaded the latest versions of Limewire and Java (no problem in general with Java-stuff) but the problem remains. Really appreciate any usefull comment on this subject. ![]() Thanks in advance O.R. |

![]() I am having same problem since several months. Did all that came to my mind: reinstalled java, reinstalld LW, turned off firewall. No way! LW WAS working once..... then some update (Java? Vista?) probably were the cause. Now LW does not even show splash scree. I can start it in W2K compatibility mode, but then it crashes. I gave up. |
