Default Help! LW won't connect.

I've tried every trick in the sticky and I'm still running up against the same connection problem. Someone please help!

I've used the program before on an old computer with XP and it worked fine. However, I recently purchased a new computer and purchased LW again with no luck connecting.

Westell do not utilise UPnP very well. I'd recommend port forwarding the device.

First step is most important:

1. VISTA Static ip setting up

2. Find your model here PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall click on the model link, on following page find LimeWire link. Try a port somewhere between 49152 - 65535, such as 64049. Do it for both TCP & UDP. Don't forget to also do that for LW settings connection & listening port too in LW's advanced settings.

On this second part, after I clicked on the above link, I was unable to find a limewire link on the page. Is there some other way to do it?

I presume it's either this one: Versalink327W or this one: Versalink-327W unless you didn't give the entire model number.
