Limewire Problem, Help. Can't Delete incomplete files after i removed limewire
I have windows vista, i deleted limewire but i had files on there that were incomplete. the incomplete folder for limewire is gone but the files are still on my computer. it says that the file cannot be found so it won't let me delete it.

any suggestions of how to remove them would be great!

Look under your name section of the explorer program and see if any traces of Limewire are still there. If there are still Limewire folders under C:\user name\ delete them all and see if that makes a difference.

yeah they're on the computer, not in the folders, and that's the problem. the folders are gone so it says that it can't trace the files to delete them

What section of your computer shows up with these files?
They must be in some folder or something!
Have you tried emptying your trash can and see if that makes some difference.
Try some of the free software that offered and written about in these forums like CC Cleaner. etc...Otherwise I can only suggest that you open your registry editor and do a search in there for the location of these files. Start with HKey_Local_Machine open up the edit tab and then try find in that section and then carry on from there.
