Default When Limewire/360share has a heart attack...?

I've downloaded 360share before (which is the parent for limewire). So far I've gotten all the updates that limewire receives in the 360share program also and it was working wonderfully.

Then one day, for no apparent reason, it locked up. The rest of my pc was fine. Now whenever i start it, it will run for about 60 seconds, then freeze and is incredibly sluggish.

Considering my specs:
Vista home edition
4gb quadcore ram
320gb harddisk
some number that deals with 4ghz processor
isp is AT&T
Norton Antivirus Sofware

I am incredibly confused as to why one day the whole thing decided to crash. I've cleared all completed downloads, double checked the firewall connections, virus scan, nothing. Even the ones that slip through the program occasionally weren't found when I used other utilities, so I know that my system is clean.

Any thoughts?
