Try this offline version instead http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe :)

If you still have a previous version of LW installed on your computer, go to Start menu -> All Programs -> LimeWire -> Uninstall. Then use this utility Microsoft Windows Install Clean Up to clean up the registry. Then install the version of LW above. :)

Thank You,
I tried it and it downloads, and when it gets finished I click on the icon, and the logo appears, then it spins and says 12% html loading.... then a scrren pops up
at the top it sames limewire set up wizard
save folder and shared folders, telling me to choose a folder where you would your files to be downloaded.....I have tried everything, re naming a folder, using browse, or use default, it does nothing I cannot move off of it.
at the bottom it has shared folders legend,
two boxes are clicked I cannot un click them one says folder is fully shared including all sub folders the other folders files ad some subfolders are shared. I did not get this screen when I loaded it on the other vista computer?

Oh .. might be an idea to reinstall Java, again use the offline installer, use MS Windows Clean Up after uninstalling it to clean registry up. Also do steps 5 & 6 here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...ng-should.html .. these two steps including Java reinstall usually help overcome the html error loading message. In fact, try steps 1-6 (excluding step 4). Oh & excluding step 2 which would only apply if you had been using LW for some years. Remember for VISTA the preferences are found in slightly different location: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html
