can't connect (LW won't open)

i have downloaded lw and when i double click on the shortcut of in the file folder nothing happens will not pull up limewire of anything
PLEASE HELP have been using limewire for about a year first time i have had problems

So you can't even open LW at all? Which version of LW did you download - 4.18.8 or 5.0.11?

i have tried 4 and 5 neither one will open
