Default Vista support

So i downloaded limewire, i turned off my firewall protection and completely removed the McAfee program that came with my laptop. And i still cannot connect to limewire. Anybody know about vista??

ok so i am using vista right but i dont have internet. I go to the local library for internet. Could that be the problem??

Ah ... yes could be. I'd imagine the library would have many ports blocked or at least firewalls to protect their system. Since you have no control over that, not a lot you can do. Could try listening & connection ports to high ports such as between 49152 - 65535.

so how do i change what port that i listen to if i use lw 5?? And if that dont work would i be better off getting my own wireless connection??
