![]() If you are using LW 5, turn on the option to auto transfer songs to iTunes. If using LW 4, then see How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}. This does in fact mention about LW 5's option. ![]() That LW playlist you see is simply a playlist. The songs themselves are not in iTunes music library. It is purely intended for playing your new downloads. The LW Library icon you see is intended for sharing on a LAN network such as to a fellow family member for playing only. Both those playlists can only be played, not burnt or transfered to iPod. |

![]() Okay, so I downloaded LW 5 and I set it up so that songs would be automatically transfered to itunes when they were done downloading. I downloaded a song and it didnt transfer and then when i tried to add it manually it worked. So I downloaded another song and tried to add that manually and it didnt work and it still wont work. So i guess I dont understand why it only works some of the time? |

![]() If a song will not add to iTunes, generally it's because either the file is not a true audio file or is corrupt, else it is not a format type iTunes can import. There might also be the possibility it's already in your library. BTW best way to check if files have been added is to click on the 'Recently Added' playlist. Not sure why iTunes did not auto import the first song. Perhaps you needed to restart LW for the change to setting to work. That is true for some LW settings. Seems to vary from LW version to version. ![]() You do need to be aware of these file sizes: Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see). Another point to keep in mind is mp3 Bit-Rates Versus File Sizes (click on link) |

![]() Something I forgot to suggest, you can check the files that will not add to iTunes with another player. I'd recommend VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site). Whilst it is primarily a video player, it also plays most audio formats also, more than iTunes can. ![]() |
