Try to make your post descriptive, specific, and clear so members can quickly and efficiently help you. To aid helpers in solving download/upload problems, LimeWire and Frostwire users must specify whether they are downloading a torrent file or a file from the Gnutella network. Members need to supply these details >>> System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) Moderators There are senior members on the forums who serve as Moderators. These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum. These off-topic posts may impede the normal operation of the forum. Edit posts. Moderators will edit posts that are offensive or break any of the House Rules. Delete posts. Posts that cannot be edited to comply with the House Rules will be deleted. Restrict members. This is one of the last punishments before a member is banned. Restrictions may include placing all new posts in a moderation queue or temporarily banning the offender. Ban members. The most severe punishment. Three or more moderators or administrators must agree to the ban for this action to occur. Banning is reserved for very severe offenses and members who, after many warnings, fail to comply with the House Rules. Banning is permanent. If your post is placed in the wrong forum it will be moved by a moderator. There are specific Gnutella Client sections for LimeWire, Phex, FrostWire, BearShare, Gnucleus, Morpheus, and many more. Please choose the correct section for your problem. 7. If you see a post in the wrong forum or in violation of the House Rules, please contact a moderator via Private Message or the "Report this post to a moderator" link at the bottom of every post. Please do not respond directly to the member - a moderator will do what is required. 8. Any impersonation of a forum member in any mode of communication is strictly prohibited and will result in banning. 9. Multiple copies of the same post will not be tolerated. Post your question, comment, or complaint only once. There is no need to express yourself more than once. Duplicate posts will be deleted with little or no warning. Keep in mind a forum censor may temporarily automatically hold up your post, if you do not see your post, do not post again, it will be dealt with by a moderator within a reasonable time. Authors of multiple copies of same post may be dealt with by moderators within their discrete judgment at the time which may result in warning or infraction points, depending on severity as adjudged by the moderators online. 10. Posts should have descriptive topics. Vague titles such as "Help!", "Why?", and the like may not get enough attention to the contents. 11. Do not divulge anyone's personal information in the forum, not even your own. This includes e-mail addresses, IP addresses, age, house address, and any other distinguishing information. Don´t use eMail addresses in your nick. Reiterating, do not post your email address in posts. This is for your own protection. 12. Signatures may be used as long as they are not offensive or sexually explicit or used for commercial advertising. Commercial weblinks cannot be used under any circumstances and will result in an immediate ban. 13. Dual accounts are not allowed. Cannot explain this more simply. Attempts to set up dual accounts will most likely result in a banning of all forum accounts. 14. Video links may only be posted after you have a tally of two forum posts. Failure to show that you have read the forum rules may result in forum rules breach infraction points or warnings awarded against you which may later total up to an automatic temporary or permanent ban. Supplying system details is a prerequisite in most cases, particularly with connection or installation issues.  Did you burn an Audio CD or a data/mp3 CD? Lots of players won't play mp3 CDs, so try burning an Audio CD & see if that makes a difference  Check the link below for a bit more info. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/tips-t...rning-cds.html Which type of CD are you using? Some players don't like CD-RW (re-writable CDs). If you've been using CD-RW, try burning to a CD-R (recordable) disc instead  |

| Alright so my computer seems to have issues with working with me until after i send an email out to someone for support, so i'm going to ignore my last question i had, which was why the songs wouldnt play on Media player for me, because now, as if by magic, they are playing!! YAY!.. Anyways.. When trying to burn the songs i've downloaded onto a cd, they keep showing up as 0KB and saying that they are not valid files and cannot be added to the compilation. I am using Cyberlinks Power2go. I've somehow managed to get it working where i can burn them using Windows media player (please dont aske me how, i have no idea it just started to work.) But i prefer using Power2go, so if anyone may have any advice or suggestions, they would be appreciated. TYIA! Moving on to my next issue..  I went ahead and tried to burn the cd in windows media player. The first 2 songs copied no problems. the next 9 songs all failed. their error messages read: 1. Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait for the current task to finish. If necessary, verify that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver. 2. Windows Media Player encountered an error while burning. Verify that the burner is connected properly and that the disc is clean and not damaged. I went ahead and tried to make another CD with different songs, that worked fine. So it's not the burner itself. Went back again and tried to make another cd same as the first one that i tried and got the same problem. So it's not the CD. Anyone with advice would be appreciated. | Sounds like some of the songs are in a format your burner software does not like / has problems converting. These might be mp3pro which is a propriety format ... not so common nowadays but still used. Or might be another format your burner program is having problems recognising & converting. For them to show O KB is ominous. Have you checked for updates for your Cyberlinks Power2go? Play those songs from the list you could not burn, verify they play properly from beginning to end (those that show the 0 KB after adding to burner). What audio file extensions do the songs have that are on the list you cannot burn? Although you won't be able to play in most stereo systems, you could use CD-RW disks whilst you try to solve this problem to save you CD-R disks. (Some DVD players & some of the newer CD players will play CD-RW disks, but CD-RW disks for audio should not be a permanent disk medium to use. Only use it for testing. Your computer player should be able to play CD-RW audio disks.) |

| With plenty of emails back and forth with "birdy" i was able to learn, and burn, a cd successfully in iTunes!      TY Birdy. (by the way Birdy, i was unable to reply to your last email, so i am going to thank you in this, and stop bothering you!)Anyways to reply to "lord of the rings".. I'm not sure if me being able to successfully burn a song in iTunes answers any of your questions as far as the burner not recognizing the songs, if file extension means an MP3, then thats what they were. I've never had this problem before. Most of the songs that i've downloaded and they came up 0, wouldnt preview and wouldnt play afterwards. But these ones all previewed fine, and wouldnt play after they were fully downloaded. Then all of a suddon they started playing again. So, i'm not sure. This one may remain a mystery? But, i've been able to make my CD, so i am as happy as can be.  I appreciate all your help to both you and Birdy and anyone else who may have helped me that i am overlooking at the moment. | yw I almost suggested iTunes but was not sure you'd like the change .. since iTunes is limited to the file formats it can import & very much depended on the file types you were using, eg: ogg or wma, real, etc. which iTunes cannot import. It can convert wma files however.hmm 2 posts tally, now you are eligible to play on the arcade. lol |

| Arcade?! What?.. I didnt know there was one! And i didnt know you could burn cds in Itunes either!.. Otherwise i would have tried that option first before posting!.. Thanks again tho!.. Off to find the arcade now |
