Dropping internet connection right after signing in to Limewire?
 

I have no issues at all connecting to Limewire. My problem is that once I do connect,my internet connection drops. Has anyone else had any issues with dropping their internet connection once signing on to Limewire? Any ideas what I need to do to fix this? I am using Windows Vista Home Premium.

Perhaps drop both your download & upload speeds slightly. Also disable Ultrapeer capabilities. LW's menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Transfers. For Ultrapeer setting, Super Really Advanced tab -> Performance, check Disable Ultrapeer & all other options on that window. :) Some others can affect CPU or connection also.
