Why does it tell me can not open input files for slittet files?

Ok so I am new at this so work with me alittle. I tried to download the new limewire on my computer but it stops almost half way through and a window comes up that says can not open input files for splittet files. What does this mean and how can I fix this problem? :confused:
Now I have no limewire:(. Has this ever happened to anyone? Help please and Thank you:laugh_2:
