Switched from AVG to McAfee and cant launch

Hi guys...

Appreciate any help in advance.

I updated my security software from AVG to McAfee and can no longer access my Lime wire Pro 4.18.3
I have Vista OS
DSL
Error message is:
Lime wire was unable to initialize and start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking Lime wires access to the internet or loop back connections on the local machine. Please allow Lime wire access to the internet and restart Lime wire.
I have tried the firewall unblocking and nothing seems to work. Should I remove McAfee and reinstall AVG? Is that my only solution?

Try re-installing Limewire.

Need to make sure (a) LW is added as an exception to McAfee firewall rules. (b) no other firewalls are running. Setting up an exception for LimeWire in your software firewall (click in link)
