![]() I've downloaded and installed Limewire 2.3.3 Pro. However, after running for various periods of time, I get the error message "javaw has generated errors and is being shut down." I've tried 1.3.0, 1.3.1, and 1.4 Java, but the same thing happens with all three. |

![]() Have now reached the extent of replacing hard drive and reinstalling system clean; current version of Java was downloaded and installed by Limewire itself. Problem continues. Error log entry cut and pasted below: The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on 04/16/2002 @ 13:47:01.415 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 2288340D (<nosymbols>) Am making one more try, with fresh download using different browser altogether (AGAIN). Any other suggestions, as I don't expect this to work? |

![]() Well, I give up. I've replaced and/or reinstalled EVERYTHING....including the hard drive and the operating system. For whatever reason, Limewire simply WILL NOT WORK on my system. Javaw keeps crashing. While it is nowhere near as good, IMNO, Gnucleus DOES seem to work, so I'm going to go with that. Sorry, guys.... rspeidel@digital-dragon.org |
