Default Rom Drive Problems With LimeWire

When LimeWire is installed, my CD Rom and DVD Rom Drives will not autorun. Also, if the CD is an installation disk, nothing will install. An error says that a file is not associated with that action. When LimeWire is uninstalled, these problems go away. I tried reinstalling LimeWire but all the problems came back. Is there a fix for this because I really miss my LimeWire. Could the reason be that I have Windows XP? Thank you for any help.

Deinstall the bundled software that comes with LimeWire. If it doesn't go away after doing so, - it isn't a problem with LimeWire.
