limewire pro only connects to 3 hosts at startup

Im new with limewire and gnutella so its maby a stupid question but limewire pro only connects to 3 hosts at startup and i have set it to connect to 9 hosts so have to write in 9 again...is it a bug or something? how do i fix it?

It's been this way since v2.4. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature (to prevent network congestion). You'd have to ask the devs. It would be nice, cuz with v2.3 i had it set to 10 ultrapeers, and usually got over double the results. Oh well.

The LimeWire team doesn't consider this behaviour a bug...
