![]() I had experienced this once or twice before with 2.2.4, but having just upgraded to 2.4.4 the problem is now ever present. At some point very soon after starting up limeware I get a system fault so horrific I don’t even get a record in the Event log as to what went wrong – only the less then helpful note: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck: the bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xc000001d, 0xa00026e4, 0xbbbd6d3c, 0x81699fc8). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. I can't tell if this is generated because of a popup, a fault encounterd during a search, or something else - but it only happens with Limewire. My system is otherwise very stable and trouble free - lots of mem, P3, and up-to-date service packs. The only thing that from time to time leads to some odd behavior is my Adaptec SCSI controler - an ADA-2940UW, but there is no evidence of a conflict that I can find. Launch Limewire, wait about 10 seconds and poof - blue screen of death with a memory dump. The error appears to be tied to WIN32K.SYS Sorting through the dump of the memory is not turning up anything useful. Anyone have a comment on what to look for or how to get around this. Thanks in advance Cheers |

![]() Wow, I thought I was the only one with this problem...although I have windows ME (multiple error). It seems to me to have something to do with--randomly selected periods of time... Also, my lime wire frequently closes at random, and causes an error in "jvm.dll" and closes. These also seem to happen at random, which makes downloading files a pain in the ***. If anyone knows how to fix this, let us know plz!!!! |

![]() Try downloading the latest Java client from sun microsystems 1.4 i think they're up to. get it here http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html I'm running Limewire on a Win2K server, had a similar problem, downloaded the updated version of the Java System files, which work quite differently from Microsoft's Virtual machine, and it solved my problems, as a matter of fact it solved many other problems. After you d/l it be sure to uninstall the 1.3 client and restart limewire ... it will say that it cant find its client ... direct it to the 1.4 client and you are set. |

![]() I'm running 2.4.4 Pro and haven't had this occur. I have ALL SP and updates. I do have occasional javaw crashes and lockups, GUI problems and crash to desktops of Limewire Pro, usually after running for several hours. A good source of info on Stop messages can be found here. Maybe it will or won't help with your Limewire problems but it will be generally useful so bookmark it. http://www.aumha.org/kbestopz.htm#0x4e |
